If your big day is taking place within a few weeks or months, chances are good you already have some printed pieces anxiously waiting. Even though these programs, menus, table seating charts, coolie/stadium cups etc. may have your original date printed on them, they’re not obsolete. There may be creative solutions to cover and hide the date if everything else remains the same. A good example or two may be the table numbers, you could place each in a frame and add greenery to cover the incorrect (original) date. Perhaps a custom sticker with your new date, your names or custom family crest might also work. If the wedding date is printed more prominently on something like the coolie cups and/or program and is harder to hide, it’s absolutely fine to use them as long as the rest of the information is still correct. The officiant won’t mind making an announcement mentioning the date change while also letting guests know they can still use the program to follow along with the service or still be able to drink out of the coolie cups, LOL. All in all, your guests will know that it’s been a tough year planning weddings and I’m quite certain, no one will care or object to you making these pieces work for the big day! Go enjoy and celebrate your love for one another. You deserve it.
